We have a strong perception that reaching our ultimate health, or eating wholesome is expensive, when in reality, the price difference is not as much.
Also remember, investing in wholesome foods is equivalent to investing in your health. In the short run, it may seem like you're paying more, but in the long run, you're saving more, as you're saving big amounts of expenditure on pharmaceutical bills, medical expenses, and needless medicines in the future.
