What can I eat post 7 PM if I feel hungry?
When our bodies are accustomed to eating late dinners for a very long time, it may take some time to adapt to the new routine. We suggest trying these two strategies, to make the transition easier :
1. Try to sleep early
One major reason you may feel hungry at night is if you are staying awake till late at night. Try to get in bed by 9 pm, and sleep early.
2. Have a light snack
Although it is ideal to not consume anything post-dinner, for the initial few days of developing this habit, you can have :
- coconut water
- a light fruit
- soup
- or herbal tea
if you feel hungry at night.
After the initial few days of eating early dinner, you will see that your body clock will adapt to the new routine, and stop feeling hungry at night.
